It was a beautiful but short Sunday. We are free from the face masks. Being at home for so many months was like being in prison. After fighting with the novel coronavirus for so many months, it had to be our win. We all had done a great job by being at home (while in reality, we did nothing besides being a responsible obedient citizen). So, as a lazy laid-back person now I have a reason to be doing nothing. Oh god, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Radhika Bajpai. Where were we? Oh, yes let me tell you about my space journey. As I said it was a beautiful but small Sunday. Today we are in the post covid era and I was eager to meet my friends, my three best friends Charvee, Ronak, and Supraj. As they say 'It takes two to tango', I would say 'It takes four to make a memory' The Four musketeers are together since we were 5 years old. We are not in the same school, we speak different languages, have different choices, and also do not live in close proximity. But still, we are close to each other's hearts. Let me tell you more about the US:-

The first musketeer Charvee-She has a very beautiful soul with pretty features. She is simply awesome. She loves art and is passionate about it, she also likes dancing. The second musketeer Ronak- He is as cool as a wave and a handsome boy. The silence of a stormy sea is what best describes him. He loves playing Casio and often plays some good tunes. The third musketeer Supraj - He is a prolific thinker, handsome, and has answers to most of our questions. He loves playing cricket, reading books, and plays guitar. The fourth musketeer Radhika- A passionate reader who loves to read books, sing and play the harmonium. A room full of books some good music and a glass full of oreo shake topped with whipped cream would make a perfect day for me. Isn't the musketeer gang full of different shades and yet united at heart?

Getting back to the post covid era where I am eagerly waiting to meet my friends and embark on an adventure journey to a mysterious place. By the way, I forgot to mention the single common thread that binds us together is Adventure. For us, anything that is beyond our expectation is an adventure. Our post covid meeting plan was to get on board on an adventure to a mysterious place. This trip was on cards since a long time but got delayed due to lockdown. The mysterious place decided by us is actually a lake and we call it a mysterious lake. It is very foggy and once someone visits that place never comes back. We love to visit places like these (actually it is the first time alone with no parents).

We are nervous but this is the place we want to visit. We have a flight tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. I am sure I am going to visit this place along with my four friends that will be the icing on the cake for this journey. In the morning, I had to wake up at 4:00 a.m. to make sure I am good to go and it takes 30 min to reach the airport. We boarded the plane it took 3-4 hours to reach our destination that was in Rajasthan beneath the desert. When we landed we were exhausted and decided to rest. It was a week's stay at this place. On the first day, we rested at the hotel enjoyed the pool. On the second day, we made the planning for essentials like water and food to be carried during the visit to the lake. On the Third day we along with a guide and a helper (both locals well acquainted with the place) left for the desert early in the morning. After 4 hours we reached the Sahara desert, we had been walking for approximately 6 hours with intermittent breaks, and two kilometers more was left to reach the Mysterio Lake. So, we decided to sleep at that very place and to resume the walking trail of the remaining two kilometers the next morning.

The morning sun shined on our head, the desert sand all around and the sound of the eagles added to the adventure. We walked and walked and walked and finally reached a mysterious place covered with a blanket of fog so here we are at the much-awaited Mysterio lake.

When we reached the lake it was hard to see but we were happy as our other senses would work properly we were thankful of God. As per the predefined plan one would lead others would follow was the motto and the route was led by Supraj. We followed and followed suddenly heard a loud voice, it sounded as if someone bumped on something. It was Supraj who had bumped on something. He screamed with pain and called all of us. We all came rushing and tried to feel and guess what this huge, hard, metal sound body was. After a few minutes the fog disappeared and to our surprise, we saw that there a huge spaceship. We rubbed our eyes opened them wide, pinched each other, and Whoa!! What a marvel, is it a dream or a reality. The first time we witnessed mixed emotions, we were laughing and crying at the same time when suddenly Charvee screamed and said 'I have captured the image in my eyes and am going to sketch it down in my drawing book'; Ronak with his regular calmness said look there is a door, let's go inside the spaceship. Although we were still not sure whether to get inside the spaceship when Supraj mentioned let's move guys. We went inside and it was a deja vu moment for me, I was able to recall the buttons of the spaceship and followed my instinct and worked on a few of them, to my amazement I started the spaceship and suddenly excitement gushed inside the spaceship and my friends were like whoa!!! They screamed are you an alien. No!! , then one of them asked me to try hands-on some more buttons. As you say Sir, I further switched on some more buttons and whoosh!!! we were in Space. I was terrified but cool with it. We went on the planet "htrae" the name is the opposite of earth. We landed on this new planet full of aliens. These aliens had protruding eyes that moved at 360 degree, ears like horns that turned with the direction of sound, wide mouth hands like claws and foot like wheels. One of them saw us and was speaking a language called his line. I could understand the language and they meant 'to imprison us' we simply ran to save our lives but the aliens were faster. They caught us and tied us with a blue light. One of them then came closer to me and stared at me and I could clearly hear someone shouting my name and saying "Radhika you are just like your father never punctual". The voice became louder and resembled my mother's voice then I felt someone jumping on me. And the next moment I opened my eyes and saw my sister jumping on me and my mother shouting. This was the best adventurous dream I had dreamt so far but a bad morning to begin a day!!
